Here is a list of New Year's Eve events and celebrations happening in Las Vegas as the calendar turns from 2020 to 2021:

  • Atlantic City on new years eve is all about the top parties and gala dinners in the local casinos and many luxury hotels followed by heading outdoors to watch the spectacular fireworks display at midnight over the Atlantic ocean and the city's iconic Boardwalk.
  • Champagne specials will be available on the casino floor, and Millcreek Grille will serve up a special New Year’s Eve food menu for customers. 21501 Emery Rd., North Randall 10 p.m., Dec.

PARTIES/DINNERS

AQUARIUS CASINO
The featured offering at Aquarius Casino Resort’s Café Aquarius, available from 4 p.m. to midnight, will include a 16-ounce T-bone steak and breaded shrimp served with bread, butter, salad, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and dessert. The meal will be priced at $30 per person or child without a True Rewards card, or $27 per person or child with a True Rewards card when redeeming True Rewards points to pay the check in full.

BUDDY V'S RISTORANTE
Buddy V’s will be welcoming in the New Year with a specialty prix fixe menu available at $65 per person. The menu will include lobster bisque served with Buddy V’s oyster crackers, basil, and lemon zest ($15); slow braised beef short rib with truffle mashed potatoes, glazed baby carrots, onions fritto, and natural jus ($40); and a sweet chocolate trifle served with champagne strawberries ($12). Toast to a new beginning with a bottle of Prosecco ($20) or wine pairing for $20 per person.

CANALETTO
Canaletto will be serving a limited a la carte New Year’s Eve menu on Dec. 31 and to-go orders can be placed in advance. Guests can also ring in the New Year by booking one of the private dining rooms available.

DELMONICO STEAKHOUSE
Guests can enjoy New Year’s Eve dinner specials such as black truffle French onion soup served with a French baguette and gruyere and Emmental cheese ($18); Creole bouillabaisse with crawfish, clams, mussels, sea bass, andouille sausage, and a toasted baguette ($32); lobster salad with champagne poached lobster tail, Mache, olives, fingerling potatoes, heirloom cherry tomatoes, shaved red onion, caviar emulsion, and lemon tarragon vinaigrette ($24); three day duck served with forbidden black rice, sautéed haricot vert, and natural reduction ($50); grilled Snake River Farms American wagyu Coulotte with roasted Maine lobster tail and black truffle reduction ($95); black-eyed peas with apple cured kurobuta bacon ($12); and strawberry champagne cake with vanilla pastry cream and strawberry jam ($12) for dessert.

DOWNTOWN GRAND HOTEL
Guests wishing to elevate their celebration can purchase the exclusive New Year's Eve Penthouse Package, including two nights in the 1,500 square-foot Gallery Tower Penthouse Suite with sweeping views of Downtown Las Vegas. Kicking off the festivities, Delirious Comedy Club will feature locally celebrated comedians Oscar Ovies, Guy Fessenden, Don Barnhart and special guests in The Fremont Room Wednesday – Sunday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. with additional shows at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Revelers can also enjoy live music from local acoustic sensation Yvonne Silva inside Freedom Beat from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

EDGEWATER CASINO
Edgewater Casino Resort will serve a four-course celebratory dinner at Hickory Pit from 4 to 10 p.m. that will start with the choice between blackened shrimp cocktail with sweet citrus sauce, or crab-stuffed mushrooms with pancetta and béarnaise sauce; followed by either lobster bisque soup or Ensenada mist salad. For the entrée, guests may choose between toasted pine nut and herb-crusted filet with sun-dried tomato béarnaise; crab-stuffed orange roughy with béarnaise; or chicken cordon bleu with wild mushroom supreme sauce. Dessert will include a choice between caramel apple crème brûlée, chocolate elegance cake or assorted berry cheesecake. The meal will be available at $40 per person or child without a True Rewards card, or $36 per person or child with a True Rewards card when redeeming True Rewards points to pay the check in full.

Casino

Guests will be able to view New Year’s Eve fireworks, “Rockets over the River,” presented by Laughlin Tourism Commission. The display is set to begin at midnight and will synchronize in harmony to festive and patriotic music.

ENOFH
They will be serving Broiled Oysters & Caviar with braised leeks, preserved lemon & herbs ($24), Chilean Sea Bass served with chorizo saffron risotto, and romesco sauce ($45), Colorado Lamb Chops served with roasted root vegetables, bacon beer braised greens, and a red eye reduction ($58), and a White Chocolate Mousse served with almond cake, and passion fruit coulis ($12). FLY LINQ
While seated forward, guests can travel 1,121 feet over The LINQ Promenade on FLY LINQ Zipline. The first and only zipline on the Las Vegas Strip will be open on Dec. 31 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. New Year’s Eve tickets are available for $40.

HIGH ROLLER OBSERVATION WHEEL
From 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, families can enjoy views of the Las Vegas Strip 550 feet in the air aboard High Roller Observation Wheel with adult, youth and child anytime tickets. Starting at 9 p.m., High Roller invites visitors 21 years or older to toast the arrival of 2021 while enjoying sweeping 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Valley and the Strip. Featuring 28 spacious cabins to accommodate guests safely, the NYE Toast at the High Roller includes one 30-minute revolution plus a glass of champagne for $75. Guests who book early, by Dec. 28, will pay just $50 for this experience—a $25 savings. The observation wheel will remain open until 1 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021.

JALEO BY JOSÉ ANDRÉS
Jaleo by José Andrés at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will usher in the new year with a first-of-its-kind, endless feast featuring decadent Spanish tapas and desserts! Available for $125 per person, the feast will include a variety of signature favorites from the world-renowned, celebrity chef restaurant, with an option to also add on a bottomless beverage package for $30 per person. Reservations are required, and all reservations must have a credit card on file in order to be valid. There will be three (3) seatings (each available for 1 hour and 45 minutes); times listed below are 7 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11 p.m.

THE PALM RESTAURANT
New Year’s Menu King Crab Surf and Turf with complimentary champagne toast. Delicious 6oz Center Cut Filet and a King Crab Leg for $79 per person. You can also upgrade to a 9oz Center Cut Filet for $99 per person.

THE STRAT HOTEL
New Year’s Eve at the 360-degree, rotating Top of the World will feature a five-course prix fixe menu from 3 p.m. – midnight.
Dinner at Top of the World will be priced at $125 per person for reservations between 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., with party favors included. For reservations after 9:45 p.m. at Top of the World and 107 SkyLounge, dinner will be priced at $249 and will include fireworks viewing, a champagne toast and party favors. For upgraded window seating at Top of the World, the meal will be priced at $274.

STRAT guests may also celebrate New Year’s Eve from 107 SkyLounge and 108 Drinks for bites and cocktails with a view of the Las Vegas Valley fireworks from above. Following 10 p.m., there will be a minimum price on food and beverage. PT’s Wings & Sports, View Lounge and REMIX Lounge will also be open for celebrations.

THE VENETIAN HOTEL
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas offers revelers a variety of ways to ring in the New Year with elevated cocktail packages featuring fancy fizzes and festive bubbly, available exclusively at the resort’s Cocktail Collective. While ushering in 2021, guests can sip on Patrón Silver tequila or Grey Goose vodka with complimentary mixers and pop a bottle of Perrier-Jouët champagne, inside the city’s most notable hotspots – The Dorsey, Electra Cocktail Club and Rosina Cocktail Lounge. Starting at $575, these elevated bottle packages are sure to sell out, so reservations are required.

THE X POT
Guests are invited to experience an immersive spectrum dining room supreme feast tasting menu available at $398 per person (minimum of four guests per party).

ZUMA
The dining destination’s NYE omakase menu will feature numerous courses of signature dishes, such as the alaskan king crab leg with ponzu lime butter and shichimi pepper, toro tartare with caviar, gold flake, white truffle and miso brioche, exclusive selection of chef simon’s sushi and sashimi, zuma dessert platter and more for $250 per person. Those looking to really splurge can opt for the Dom Perignon exclusive omakase ($400 per person), boasting luxe items including cured scallops with uni, wasabi ponzu sauce, yuzu tobiko, foie gras with japanese mountain peach, unagi, pickled sancho and truffle and much more—and of course, 1 bottle of Dom Perignon luminous 2008 for every two persons.
